I few years ago (2016) the family and I went to Lexington to catch the Rome Braves. I believe Soroka was supposed to start that night so I was excited. When we got there, I noticed that he looked much taller than I expected. He walked over to the Braves bullpen. I grabbed a couple of photos and realized it wasn't Soroka because he had longer hair. The player signed a ball for both of my young kids 11 and 8. When he finished warming up, he walked straight over to us, we were close to the Braves dugout, made eye contact with my son and tossed him the warm up ball.

This player ended up having a pretty good season and I am hopeful that he makes his debut this year along with being a potential starter: Patrick Weigel
