The Atlanta Braves announced a roster move prior to Friday’s series opener against the San Diego Padres. The Braves reinstated Anthony Swarzak from the injured list and placed Grant Dayton on the IL with a fractured toe.

Swarzak had been on the injured list due to some shoulder inflammation. He has been lights out for Atlanta since coming over in a trade with the Mariners. Swarzak has allowed just eight hits and one earned run over 17 appearances with the Braves to help solidify the bullpen.

Dayton has split the season between Atlanta and Gwinnett. He has made 10 appearances for the Braves allowing two earned runs in 8 1/3 innings.
