Will Atlanta win its third straight and move within two games of .500? Let's find out together.

The Atlanta Braves enter the night with an overall record of 20-23 and sit in second place in the National League East. They're currently 6 1/2 games back of the Washington Nationals (27-17) and just a game ahead of the New York Mets (19-24).

Julio Teheran will be on the mound for Atlanta on Wednesday as he squares off against Trevor Williams and the Pittsburgh Pirates. His home/away splits are certainly alarming as 28 of the 30 earned runs he's allowed in 2017 have come at SunTrust Park. However, an examination of his lefty-righty splits will show that left-handed bats have played a large roll in the inflation of his home ERA. Of the 30 earned runs Teheran has allowed this season, 22 of those have come against left-handed batters. Moreover, 21 of those 22 earned runs have come against left-handed batters at SunTrust Park.

With that said, let's take a quick look at Pittsburgh's starting lineup tonight:

Teheran will be going up against four left-handed batters in Adam Frazier, Josh Bell (switch), John Jaso and Danny Ortiz.

Here's the starting lineup for the Braves tonight:

Dansby Swanson will get the night off as Jace Peterson will play shortstop and bat 8th.
