Marlins Absolutely Embarrass The Braves 9-2

Dallas Keuchel was hammered by the Marlins, and the Atlanta offense was shut down. That was ultimately a poor combination for the Braves, and resulted in a lopsided loss to a really bad team.

Austin Riley Placed on 10-Day IL with Partial LCL Tear

Riley is scheduled to meet with Dr. James Andrews regarding the ligament tear to determine whether or not he will require surgery. The rookie slugger had been struggling mightily, but losing him for an extended period of time is obviously not ideal for him or for a team that is losing depth very quickly.

Riley to IL, Walker recalled from Triple-A

Jeremy Walker was recalled and will replace Riley on the active roster. The right-hander will join a much-maligned Atlanta bullpen as the club looks to bridge the gap between starter and whoever they deem fit to close games at the moment.
