Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Braves fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

The Atlanta Braves return to action Friday night when they open up a road trip that begins with a three-game stop in San Diego to face the Padres. With the All-Star Game now in the rearview mirror, the focus will shift to the trade deadline which has a bit of a new wrinkle this season. The July 31 deadline will now be the last chance for teams to add to their rosters as Major League Baseball has eliminated the waiver deadline that we have seen in August for the last several seasons.

This trade deadline will be interesting to follow as a ton of teams are still within striking distance of the wild card. That will likely create a sellers market but will put much more emphasis on several teams performance over the next few weeks.

The Braves are among several teams that will likely be looking to add pitching at the deadline and there will potentially be some big names available. Guys like Madison Bumgarner, Marcus Stroman and Zach Wheeler have already been part of the rumor mill. The Indians reportedly gauged the value of Trevor Bauer during the offseason and could revisit that before the deadline. If you were calling the shots, which of these players would you give up the most for to acquire?

That was the subject of this week’s National FanPost question and Bauer came out on top capturing 35 percent of the vote. Bumgarner came in second with Stroman close behind in third.

The Braves will enter the second half with a six-game lead in the NL East and fan confidence remains strong. Our Week 16 voting shows that 97 percent of our FanPulse voters are confident in the direction of the Braves. That is up one percent over last week and marks the sixth straight week that they have been at 90 percent or above.

Confidence also remains high in manager Brian Snitker whose approval rating comes in at 87 percent this week. Snitker has been at 83 percent or above for the last six weeks. Do you agree with these results? If you were in charge of the Braves who would you target at the trade deadline? Let us know in the comments below.
