A long western road trip came to a pleasant end on Sunday with a 5-3 win by the Atlanta Braves over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Atlanta takes 3 of 4 in Arizona and finishes the trip with a 6-4 record.

Tyler Flowers went 2-for-4 with two RBIs including his second triple of the season. He talked about Nick Markakis’ game-saving catch, Max Fried’s performance and applauded the effort of the team’s bench.

Max Fried didn’t have his best stuff but did enough to help the Braves to the win. He allowed nine hits and three runs over five innings while striking out seven and walking just one.
