Braves come through late again in solid 6-4 win
Kevin Gausman allowed one run over six innings while both Brian McCann and Johan Camargo homered late to help the Atlanta Braves to a 6-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks Saturday night at Chase Field. The Braves will wrap up the series and a long road trip on Sunday.
Braves reportedly on Madison Bumgarner’s eight-team no-trade list
The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reports that Madison Bumgarner has an eight-team no-trade list that includes both the Braves and the Phillies. However, as Rosenthal points out, Bumgarner’s list includes eight contenders that he wouldn’t necessarily reject a trade to but their inclusion would grant him a bit of leverage in negotiations.

Tyler Glasnow Out 4-6 Weeks With Mild Forearm Strain, Andrew Velazquez Recalled
An MRI exam revealed a minor forearm strain for Rays right-hander Tyler Glasnow. He is expected to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks with the injury. The team recalled Andrew Velazquez to take Glasnow’s spot on the active roster.
The San Francisco Giants continue to search for outfield answers and have claimed Aaron Altherr off of waivers from the Phillies. Altherr was designated for assignment by Philadelphia this past Saturday.
Astros Place Jose Altuve On Injured List
The Houston Astros placed second baseman Jose Altuve on the injured list due to a hamstring strain. Altuve suffered the injury in Friday’s game and although the team doesn’t think it is serious, they are not going to take any chances with his health.
Blue Jays Acquire Edwin Jackson
The Toronto Blue Jays acquired right-hander Edwin Jackson from the Oakland A’s on Saturday in exchange for cash considerations. Toronto will be the 14th different organization that Jackson has played for in his career.
