The Atlanta Braves have made two roster moves this afternoon, one expected and one not-so-expected:
The #Braves today returned RHP Mike Foltynewicz from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the 10-day injured list after optioning RHP Bryse Wilson to Triple-A @GoStripers following last night’s game.

Foltynewicz is ready to be unleashed on the Rockies tonight. He has been in Gwinnett while rehabbing due to a bone spur in his right elbow. He has yet to put together a 200 IP season to date, but he is ready to pick it back it up after posting 3.8 WAR in 183 innings last year. Bryse Wilson was optioned to Gwinnett in order to make room. Wilson will be back, but not after another stint in Triple-A. He was roughed up in his first start versus the Phillies, sporting an 8.31 ERA in limited time in 2019. There is also this:
The #Braves today placed LHP Jesse Biddle on the 10-day injured list with a right thigh contusion/right groin strain and recalled RHP Shane Carle from Triple-A @GoStripers.

Shane Carle is back in the bullpen for tonight. The Braves will hope for 2018 first-half Shane Carle, who put up 0.7 WAR in 2 months and not the 2019 version with his 9.72 FIP in eight innings. Jesse Biddle has sent to the injured list for what is termed as a right contusion/ right groin strain. Biddle has had a tough time lately, giving up eight walks and heartburn in his last 3 2⁄3 innings. Hopefully, the good Jesse Biddle will return.
