The Braves haven't won a series since winning three of four from Milwaukee May 21-24. It's high time they changed that with Julio Teheran going for the Braves against the Padres. Wil Myers is off the DL for the Padres and is batting leadoff. Will Venable starts in left field for Justin Upton.
Also, the Braves DFA'd Trevor Cahill and recalled Dana Eveland from Gwinnett.
