Sunday was Kyle Wright throw the best start of his career against a very strong Nashville lineup. Drew Waters had a three hit game as well, but that was about it as half the Sunday schedule got cancelled and will not be made up.

Kyle Wright turned in the start of his life on Sunday, starting out with 6 1/3 perfect innings before giving up a double to Tyrone Taylor. That was the only runner he allowed on base until the leadoff hitter in the top of the ninth, who singled and was later erased via a double play. Wright went with a complete game shutout, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out five in the best individual performance of his pro career.
At the plate Gwinnett was powered by Johan Camargo, who went 2-for-5 with a homer, a double, and four RBI. Ryan Casteel added a homer and a pair of RBI in a 3-for-4 game, while Drew Waters went 3-for-5 with a double and stole a base. That was basically all the offense, as there were doubles from Travis Demeritte and Terrance Gore plus a single from Jason Kipnis that accounted for the rest of the Gwinnett hits.

Royber Salinas got the start on Sunday and turned in another gem to close out his season, pitching five scoreless innings allowing four hits and a walk while striking out five as he dropped his ERA to 0.64. Lisandro Santos followed with a pair of scoreless frames, before Estarlin Rodriguez allowed the lone Myrtle Beach run during his two thirds of an inning. Peyton Williams finished it off with an inning and a third not allowing a run, picking up the save.
Braves recent draftees really helped the offense for Augusta as Tyler Tolve went two for three with a walk, run, and steal, and Justyn Henry-Malloy went one for three with a walk, run, double, and RBI. 2019 draft pick Willie Carter also had a multi-hit game, going two for three, while Landon Stephens had a double and a steal in the win.
