In what will be the final Monday night game of the regular season, the Braves will face the Marlins at Truist Park.
It will be a battle of young hurlers, as the Braves send Huascar Ynoa to the mound, and the Marlins will counter with Trevor Rogers. With his 21 ⅔ career innings, Ynoa serves as the elder statesman in this matchup - Rogers, a rookie, only carries 21 total innings.
There is plenty of division-related intrigue to this series, as the Braves can clinch the division with three victories over the next four games. The Marlins are still tracking for the playoffs however, so they have little ground to lose and cannot afford to take their fins off the gas pedal.
As alluded to in the intro, this is the final Monday night game before the playoffs start, so the intensity is only going to ramp up from here. Since we are being granted this opportunity to congregate one last Monday before the stakes get uncomfortably high, we hope you will take advantage of the remaining time and watch the game with us. Let’s see if we can set a record for most comments during a regular season game.
