This is your Talking Chop open thread for a dreary Tuesday back at work. Question of the day is which Braves players did the scouting reports miss badly on projecting future value?

We read in the Daily Chop about scouting reports that predicted future greatness. But it’s clear that no one picked up on Maddux’s brillance, or it had yet to be developed. No mention of the cut fastball here. I love this line:
Weaknesses: lacks overall control on all pitches.. just has to get ahead of hitters more often.
Yeah, I think it’s fair to say that he worked on this in his career. Happy Tuesday, everybody!
