Phillies Place Jay Bruce On IL, Recall Adam Haseley
The Phillies placed outfielder Jay Bruce back on the injured list Friday with a flexor strain in his left arm. Bruce had just returned from the injured list where he had been out with an oblique injury. Adam Haseley was called up to replace Bruce.
Tigers release veteran infielder Josh Harrison
It is safe to say that Josh Harrison’s time in Detroit did not go as planned. The Tigers gave Harrison his unconditional release on Friday as they will focus on giving playing time to their younger players down the stretch.
