Fresh off of a series win over the Philadelphia Phillies, the Atlanta Braves will wrap up their final series before heading off into the All-Star break with a three-game set against the Miami Marlins.

The Braves took two of three from the Phillies including a five homer outburst on Thursday in which they erased a 4-0 deficit in a 12-6 win. Atlanta now has a 6.0 game lead over second place Washington in the NL East standings.

The Braves will be looking to keep the pressure on the Nationals and the Phillies and to continue their recent dominance of the Marlins. Atlanta has won eight of the nine meetings between the two teams this season including a three-game sweep in Miami back in early June.

Julio Teheran will be looking to get back on track after allowing a combined 15 runs in his last three starts. Teheran has been really good against the Marlins this season however. He allowed just two hits and struck out four over six shutout innings back on May 5 in Miami. He followed that up with another two-hit, six inning shutout performance on June 8. Teheran has a 3.89 ERA in 22 career starts against Miami.

Miami will counter with right-hander Jordan Yamamoto who is off to a great start since being promoted from Triple-A. Yamamoto has allowed just six runs across his four starts and has racked up 23 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched. He was tagged for four runs in just four innings of his last start against the Phillies.

The Braves have homered eight times during their homestand and are sixth in the majors with 140 on the season.
