The infamous trade deadline is approaching and any educated fan knows what that means. Every team in contention feels pressure to make a move by the 31st and the Braves should not. That is my opinion but this thread is about something serious.
Kyle Wright has the yips. The braves know they don't want to send the wrong message to the fans by not making a move at the deadline, so they most likely will end up making a move. They can use their plethora (or so it seems) of prospects to get what most likely would end up being solid and controllable relief pitcher with options moving forward.
Kyle Wright's price will never be higher than it is right now. He is the number two prospect in a farm system with an excellent reputation around the league. The number two prospect in the braves rich farm system has to be good right? A couple of years ago Ozzie was our number two prospect and look how that has turned out. The point is that his price is high right now and it could take the pain of giving up a "top prospect" for someone who is actually pretty valuable. This is the only prospect that I would see a team possibly being interested in. Every trade scenario I've seen from braves fan have been lopsided towards the Bravos because people want to gain everything without giving something up.
Kyle Wright has the yips and needs to be sold. His mind and body won't allow him to pitch in the big leagues.
