The Atlanta Braves take on the Washington Nationals today at 12:05 p.m. ET but we will also be keeping an eye on trade action around the league with the deadline scheduled for 4 p.m. ET today. Below is a running list of all the deals that have been made starting with yesterday.

Wednesday, July 31

  • Rangers acquire RHP Nate Jones and international bonus pool money from the White Sox in exchange for minor league pitchers Ray Castro and Joseph Jarneski
  • The Tampa Bay Rays acquired first baseman Jesus Aguilar from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for RHP Jacob Faria.
  • The Houston Astros acquired catcher Martin Maldonado from the Chicago Cubs in exchange for outfielder Tony Kemp.
  • The Washington Nationals acquired reliever Daniel Hudson from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for RHP Kyle Johnston.
  • The Nationals have also acquired Roenis Elias from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for RHP Elvis Alvarado and LHP Taylor Guilbeau.
  • The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired LHP Drew Pomeranz and Ray Blackin exchange for Mauricio Dubon.
  • The Oakland Athletics have acquiring RHP Tanner Roark from the Cincinnati Reds.

Tuesday, July 30

  • In a three-team deal, the Cleveland Indians have traded right-hander Trevor Bauer to the Reds, Cincinnati sends outfielder Yasiel Puig to the Indians and outfield prospect Taylor Trammell to the Padres. San Diego sends outfielder Franmil Reyes, left-hander Logan Allen and infielder Victor Nova to Cleveland.
  • Braves acquire reliever Chris Martin from the Texas Rangers in exchange for left-hander Kolby Allard.
  • Blue Jays trade right-hander David Phelps and cash to Cubs for right-hander Thomas Hatch.
