#HUGWATCH ALERT

........

Just kidding (though never say never with AA)

Dansby Swanson will take a seat as Johan Camargo gets a rare start at short tonight versus the Royals. No, it is likely not due to a trade, but simply in an effort to get Swanson two days of rest in an effort to get his bat going again before a very important road trip.

Swanson has produced a .606 OPS over the past two weeks. While he certainly has been productive in the second spot of the lineup overall, he has struggled to start the second half. Hopefully, some rest will be what he needs to get some hits over the next few important series (so much for that WPA prediction.)

Brian McCann will also get the expected start against a righty in place of Tyler Flowers tonight.

For the Royals, the immediate eye catcher is Bubba Starling, the once thought to be local generational prospect whom the Royals drafted in 2011. Starling passed on the chance to be the quarterback at the University of Nebraska to pursue his baseball career. Unfortunately, issues with health and at the plate derailed the lofty expectations Starling carried early in his career. However, now finally in the majors, many are hoping that he finds the success many have wished for him for years.

Any Braves fans who want to wish him nothing but the best certainly can... starting tomorrow.
