The Atlanta Braves will try to salvage a split in their series with the Washington Nationals Sunday night at SunTrust Park. Atlanta leads Washington by 5.5 games in the NL East standings entering play on Sunday.
Ender Inciarte returns to the lineup for the Braves on Sunday making his second start since being activated from the injured list. Austin Riley returns to the bench and is hitting just .170/.224/.302 through 15 games in July. Brian McCann is in to catch Kevin Gausman who was activated from the injured list today and will be making his first start since June 10.

Freddie Freeman is 3-for-7 with a pair of homers and four walks in his career against Joe Ross. Nick Markakis is 6-for-14 while Dansby Swanson is 3-for-8 with a homer.
Kurt Suzuki will catch and hit seventh for Dave Martinez on Sunday. Ryan Zimmerman gets the start at first. Joe Ross will be making his first start of the season.
