The Atlanta Braves made two roster moves before tonight’s game with the Nationals.
The #Braves today recalled RHP Wes Parsons and RHP Patrick Weigel from Triple-A Gwinnett after optioning RHP Kyle Wright and RHP Touki Toussaint to @GoStripers following last night’s game.

Wes Parsons is back with the Atlanta bullpen tonight, along with Patrick Weigel. Kyle Wright has returned to AAA Gwinnett and Touki Toussaint will join him.
Kyle Wright’s start last night could have gone better. The line of 2 2?3 IP, 7 ER, 7 H, 3 BB, 3 SO did little to guarantee another Atlanta start in five days. Touki Toussaint has shown brilliant flashes, but his 2019 line of 5.62 ERA/ 4.99 FIP/ 5.61 xFIP was enough for be rotated out.
The righty Wes Parsons has been very effective in Gwinnett, posting a 2.08 ERA with 8.52 K/9. Patrick Weigel has been decent with Gwinnett. He is likely here to spell Toussaint, and perhaps take a multi-inning bullpen outing. Weigel is not expected to start this weekend versus the Nationals. Welcome Wes and Patrick!
