Julio Teheran returns to the mound for the Atlanta Braves on Friday when they travel to Lakeland to take on the Detroit Tigers.
Teheran made his first start since returning from the World Baseball Classic this past Sunday and wasn’t sharp allowing six hits and three earned runs over five innings of work. Overall he has been great and is poised to make his fourth straight opening day start for the Braves.
Ender Inciarte and Nick Markakis will get the day off in the Braves outfield on Friday. Emilio Bonifacio gets the start in center while Mel Rojas Jr. will be in right. Kurt Suzuki will handle catching duties today for Teheran.
