It's Getaway Day for the Braves, which means that we're being treated to some good ol' matinee baseball! Well, it's matinee time for those of you on the west coast. For those of us here on the home front, this is some late-afternoon baseball. Either way, it's baseball during the day and that's always fun, right?
Mike Foltynewicz will be starting for the Braves today, which should add to the fun. The Braves have shown an ability to hit Diamondbacks pitching, so if that continues and the pitching staff can bring it together for a good pitching performance, then the Braves just might be able to return to the east coast with a 5-5 record from this long west coast swing.
