The Atlanta Braves will try to snap a three-game losing skid Saturday evening when they continue their three-game series against the Miami Marlins. Atlanta dropped the opener Friday night 4-3 as Charlie Morton struggled and are now 1-4 against the Marlins this season.
The Braves roll out the regular lineup against Miami on Saturday with Abraham Almonte and Ender Inciarte getting the start in the outfield. Inciarte is making his third straight start in center.
First pitch at 4:10 today in Miami.

Meanwhile, the Marlins with throw Zach Thompson out onto the mound. I discussed Thompson in the game preview, but to recap, Thompson is a big righty with a low-90s fastball that has good life and a good changeup, as well as a slider that he mixes in. Thompson is a 27 year old rookie with only 3 innings of experience in the majors. Outside of Thompson, the Miami lineup is more or less what we’ve come to expect.
Sandy Leon will hit seventh and get the start behind the plate in place of Jorge Alfaro who is day-to-day after he was hit on the elbow by Morton in Friday’s game.
