Brian Snitker confirmed Friday night that the Braves would use an opener and a bullpen game for Game 4 against the Houston Astros. The team announced Saturday afternoon that left-hander Dylan Lee will serve as the team’s opener.

Lee spent the entire season with Gwinnett and didn’t make his debut with the Braves until the final series of the regular season. Lee was on the roster for the Division Series but didn’t get into a game. He was initially left off the NLCS roster but replaced Huascar Ynoa when he was saddled with a sore shoulder. He has appeared in two games this postseason allowing three hits and one run over 2 2/3 innings. He has three strikeouts and hasn’t walked anyone.

Lee appeared in 35 games for Gwinnett positing a 1.54 ERA and a 2.61 FIP in 46 2/3 innings.

The Braves will look for him to get the game off the ground before giving way to one of their multi-inning options.
