The Braves go for three in a row, while the Mets will try to avoid a three-game losing streak. This game is a rematch of Sunday night’s very pleasant contest for the Braves, and its biggest question for both teams probably rests with the scheduled starters. Sean Newcomb only gave up a run but managed to collect just ten outs; the Braves are trying to figure out whether he represents a livable rotation piece going forward, and they previously felt otherwise after a couple of rocky starts at the start of the 2019 season. Rick Porcello’s Mets debut was awful, but the Mets need him to be okay-ish going forward, especially given the injuries they’ve already suffered to Noah Syndergaard and Marcus Stroman.
