The 2020 MLB Draft will begin Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. ET on the MLB Network and ESPN. This year’s event has been shortened from the normal 40 rounds down to just five due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The assigned values for each pick had been scheduled to increase 3.5 percent but MLB and the MLBPA agreed to allow the league to freeze those values at the 2019 numbers for the 2020 and 2021 Drafts.

Therefore, the Orioles ($13,894,300) and Tigers ($13,325,700) will have the two largest pools. The Braves will have just four picks in the five rounds and will have the third smallest bonus pool overall at $4,127,800.
