More details for the 2020 MLB Draft emerged on Friday according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan. The first round of the draft will take place at 7 p.m. ET on June 10. Rounds 2-5 will begin at 5 p.m. on June 11.

The draft will take place via video conference as no teams are currently allowed to have draft rooms. ESPN’s Kiley McDaniel added that teams can begin signing undrafted free agents on June 14.

Major League Baseball is expected to halt revenue sharing among teams for the 2020 season according to a report by The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal and Evan Drellich. That decision has not been finalized yet but that is the expectation at this juncture per the report.

MLB.com’s Anthony Castrovince compiled a list of the best players that never won an MVP during their career. Former Braves third baseman Eddie Matthews is No. 3 on the list having finished runner up in 1953 and 1959.

Former player and front office executive Bob Watson died on Thursday at age 74 after a long illness. Watson spent three of his 21 years in the majors in a Braves uniform wrapping up his career in 1984.
