To absolutely nobody’s surprise the Atlanta Braves have announced they have selected the contract of half-mountain, half-man Kyle Muller and added him to the 40-man roster.
The #Braves today selected LHP Kyle Muller to the the major league roster. The club’s 40-man roster stands at 37.

The move comes as no surprise as the deadline to add players to the 40-man to exempt them from the rule-5 draft is tomorrow. The 6’7” Muller unfortunately missed a crucial year of development last year due to COVID-19 but still will likely be one of the first prospects up next year if the Braves need starting pitching.
Muller has the arsenal to be a starting pitcher in the major leagues for a long time but his future will come down to his ability to repeat his mechanics on each pitch. If he’s able to consistently repeat his delivery and arm slot his time in the minors will be short next year.
