The Atlanta Braves homered three times including a career-best 35th by Freddie Freeman in a come from behind 9-5 win over the New York Mets. Atlanta has now won seven straight games and will go for a series sweep on Sunday.

Braves sign Francisco Cervelli to major league deal

The Braves made it official on Saturday adding veteran catcher Francisco Cervelli on a major league deal. Atlanta returned catcher Alex Jackson to Gwinnett to make room on the active roster. Cervelli wasted no time making an impact going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs in Saturday’s win in New York.

Braves’ Johan Camargo regrouping nicely in Triple-A so far

Things are going just as the Braves hoped for Johan Camargo who is hitting .433 in seven games with Gwinnett.
