The Atlanta Braves were already dealing with a short bench for Friday’s series opener and it appears to have just gotten even shorter. Ender Inciarte doubled in the second inning and then came around to score on Matt Joyce’s run-scoring single. However, Inciarte pulled up lame coming around third with an apparent leg injury.

Inciarte limped to the dugout and went immediately to the tunnel. As you can see from his reaction below, he was not happy.

Rafael Ortega replaced Inciarte in the lineup with Ronald Acuña Jr. shifting over to center field. We will pass along further updates as they become available.

UPDATE - The Braves announced that Inciarte left Friday’s game with a right hamstring injury.

POST GAME UPDATE - Brian Snitker told reporters following Friday’s game that Inciarte will undergo tests on Saturday to determine the severity of his hamstring injury.
