Dallas Keuchel cruises again as Josh Donaldson, Braves beat Padres
The Braves got seven innings from Dallas Keuchel, who allowed just one run while striking out five. He worked down in the zone and elicited a lot of weak contact, which aided him in being able to complete seven innings with just 100 pitches. Offensively, the Braves were led by Josh Donaldson, who homered twice, and Ronald Acuna, who nearly hit a ball out of Petco Park. Luke Jackson made things interesting but locked down the save to give the Braves a win to begin the second-half.
