Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Braves fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

The Atlanta Braves wrapped up the 2019 MLB Draft earlier this week adding three college hitters on the first day headlined by Baylor catcher Shea Langeliers. That was the subject of this week’s FanPulse question which asked if you approved or disapproved of Atlanta’s top pick. A whopping 86 percent of fans approved of the selection of Langeliers.

As for the rest of the results, the Braves closed to within just a half game of the NL East lead before dropping two of three in Pittsburgh. They are currently two back entering play on Saturday but fans remain confident overall in the team. Eighty four percent of FanPulse voters approve of the job Brian Snitker is doing as manager. That is up two percentage points over last week and is the fourth straight week that he has been above 80 percent.

As for confidence in the direction of the team, which I define as the front office along with the on field product, the results are strong with the vote coming in at 90 percent. That is up from 86 percent last week and is just the second time all season that they have cracked the 90 percent threshold. It will be interesting to see what effect signing Dallas Keuchel will have on these results next week.

This week’s national question asked whether or not MLB stadiums should have safety netting extended to each foul pole. This is a no-brainer for me as it would better protect young fans like the one that was recently struck by a foul ball off the bat of Cubs outfielder Albert Almora. Interestingly though, only 60 percent of voters think that netting should be extended all the way to the foul pole.

That is it for this week’s FanPulse roundup. Let us know in the comments section what you think of the results. It isn’t too late to sign up and be a part of the process. Just go to this link to get signed up and you can be a part of next week’s voting.
