MLB: Atlanta Braves at Pittsburgh Pirates Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Braves will look to clinch a series win against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday and extend their winning streak to six-straight in the process. Atlanta has unleashed a home run barrage launching 10 over the first two games of the series.

They will look to give some support to Mike Soroka who hasn’t needed much over his first 10 starts of the season. Soroka is coming off of a stellar outing where he limited the Marlins to three hits and one run over eight innings. Soroka has allowed one earned run or less in nine of his 10 starts this season.

The Pirates came into the series with a question mark as to who would start Wednesday’s game and that was before Joe Musgrove’s ejection on Monday forced them to blow out their bullpen. Pittsburgh will recall top pitching prospect Mitch Keller to make Wednesday’s start in Atlanta. Keller’s first major league start didn’t go well as he allowed seven hits and six runs in just four innings in Cincinnati. Since returning to the minors, Keller has put up solid numbers including a 13 strikeout game in his last Triple-A start.
