The Atlanta Braves exploded for nine runs in support of Mike Soroka in a 9-2 win over the Miami Marlins. Soroka was excellent again allowing three hits and two unearned runs over seven innings. Ozzie Albies finished with two hits including a grand slam in the sixth that put Atlanta in front for good. Ronald Acuña Jr. snapped out of his slump going 4-for-4 at the plate but did leave the game early after dealing with tightness in his lower back.
Here is what the guys had to say following the game.
