The Atlanta Braves finished off the Cubs with a 9-4 win on Thursday on a rainy evening at SunTrust Park. Max Fried was stellar on the mound allowing just one hit over six shutout innings while striking out five. Nick Markakis did the heavy lifting on the offensive side going 5-for-5 at the plate while also driving in five runs. The victory gives Atlanta a sweep in the series and evens their record at 3-3 on the season.
