Sanchez was injured while running in the outfield during pregame workouts. He was down motionless for several minutes while being attended to by Braves’ trainers before eventually being carted off the field.
Sanchez has been excellent early on for Atlanta allowing just 11 hits and two earned runs over his first 14 innings. He was scheduled to start tomorrow’s series opener against the Mets. Atlanta has yet to announce updated pitching plans but could opt to move everyone up a day since they were operating on an extra day of rest. The team could also elect to give the start to Lucas Sims who was called up over the weekend.
Camargo suffered an oblique injury during spring training and began the season on the disabled list. He got off to a slow start on his rehab assignment but has played better of late.
