Game Thread 8/21: Braves vs. Mariners

The Atlanta Braves picked up a (much) needed victory on Sunday afternoon and the team’s nine-game homestand at SunTrust Park continues on Monday evening. This time, the Seattle Mariners are in town for a three-game set and old pal Andrew Albers is on the hill for the visitors.

In general, it will be at least mildly interesting to see Albers face the Braves but the spotlight is firmly on Mike Foltynewicz to perform better than he has in two disastrous starts in a row. Elsewhere, Matt Kemp is expected to rejoin the lineup after an absence on Sunday and this will be just the second look at the veteran outfielder since he was activated from the disabled list.
