For those of you wondering what SunTrust Park will look like, and how it will play, wonder no more! The Braves are all set to play an exhibition game at their new stadium as they face off against the Yankees at 7:35 ET.
The game is being broadcast on Fox Sports Southeast (if you’re in the Atlanta market), or on MLB Network otherwise. It’s also being broadcast on MLB.tv, even if you are not a subscriber, so there are multiple ways to watch.
The Braves are trying to bring maximum entertainment into this game, with what will essentially be their starting lineup:

Sure, Kurt Suzuki as the DH is a bit of a bummer, but still, SunTrust Park! Bartolo Colon pitching! Baseball in Atlanta! Opening Day this weekend, and the Brave start playing on Monday! It’s all very exciting.
A few minor dark clouds persist, like the highway collapse in the Atlanta area that will probably make the traveling experience miserable for some fans headed to this game, or the fact that the last few spots of the Opening Day roster remain in the flux as the Braves try to machinate and contort their way forward.
But, it’s 70 degrees and sunny in Atlanta, so soak it up and watch the Braves show off their shiny new ballpark today.
