The Braves will take on the Cardinals with a three game set with arguably their best pitcher on the mound to start the series. To say Santana has been phenomenal out of the gate would be an understatement. His changeup usage has been a huge reason for his success and hopefully he can continue that against a Cardinal offense that has lacked the home run power that usually plagues Santana.
Lance Lynn has been an effective starter, especially in the strikeout department. The offense in Atlanta is not in for an easy test in game one but for the series at least they avoid Michael Wacha and Adam Wainwright. Taking the series lead after game one is extremely vital if the Braves are to win the series.
