On the bright side, he didn't walk a man while whiffing four. Gwinnett had several fantastic offensive performances, with 6 G-Braves recording multi-hit games. Luis Durango led the way with 3 hits and 3 RBIs, including his 4th triple of the year. Durango also swiped his 32nd base, tops among all Braves farmhands. Christian Marrero reached base 4 times tonight, with a single, double, and two walks in 5 plate appearances. Marrero scored 3 runs and even stole his 6th base of the year. Lance Zawadzki had a three hit day with a double, 2 singles, 2 RBI, and his second steal. Jaye Chapman pitched 2 perfect innings with 4 punchouts to record his 5th save.

Gwinnett takes on the Bats again tonight.

Good David Hale showed up last night for the M-Braves, but Mississippi's bullpen blew his win. Hale went 5 innings, allowing a run on 4 hits. He walked one and whiffed 6, giving him 47 punchouts in his last 47 innings pitched. Hopefully he can begin inching closer to consistency. Todd Cunningham was the only M-Brave to record a multi-hit game, going 2-5 with a triple and scoring on Leonard's homer.
