Anybody else think Heyward’s lack of strike zone control stems from his having moved so far off the plate? He didn’t swing at the crap pitches before he moved away from the plate.

FYF had/has a job for awhile and isnt great in the field either

We have traded away great players for less than nothing and let Texierra walk away, and much much more so pray that Hayward is sent from God and that his energy can ignite the veterans and cause the younger players to hustle more and play winning baseball...

So Mitch Jones homered again

He’s got 13 on the year. Too bad he doesn’t walk enough.

But hey

Freddie Freeman was 3-4. His average is up to .277, with a .336 OBP. He just needs to get his power stroke going.

The GCL team scored 12 runs

But I can’t tell you much about those guys. Matt Lipka, our top pick this year, went 1-5 as the DH. We apparently had two guys name De La Santos in the line-up. Must have been fun for someone. One of those two homered.
