Our pal royhobbs but together some pictures for me a while back, and I'm just now getting around to using them. They are below and contain links to the items described. This is not some sort of imposition of massive rules all of a sudden, this is just something I've been meaning to get to for a while, and it will help the moderators and me when dealing with "problems." For most of you, just keep plodding along as you have been, though you may want to read over these topics as you might learn something that you didn't know before.

i dont know if this is a formatting thing that you have control over, Gondee, but is there any way to make it more visible on the sidebar, I love this and think it should help reduce some of the unwanted material on the boards.

Okay, I have been waiting awhile to bring this up because I dont think its worthy of its own fanpost, but this seems as good a forum as any:

Is there any way we could get a Countdown-To-Opening-Day ticker on a sidebar somewhere?

I dont know the process or complications that go into doing that, but I do know that it would make me very happy. Whenever I go to any other MLB SBnation blog I feel the wounding pierce of Envy’s dagger into my soul, as I watch the minutes and seconds melt from the clock. Tic. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Our very own countdown would definitely brighten my day and save me from one more sin, which my horribly corrupted soul can most assuredly not afford.

I’ll think about it. I have to balance those cool things with site load times, and there’s already so much plug-in content and ads on TC that adding one more dynamic element might send some users over the edge. Still, I’ll think about it. Does anyone else have an opinion on this?

I don’t post much but I check the site quite a bit for all the awesome Braves news.

But load time would not cause it to annoy me.
