Game 155 Recap: Braves 6, Nationals 3 in 10, SWEEP!
This winning thing, this is fun, and I could get used to it. Derek Lowe was Derek Lowe and held the Nats close and allowed the Braves to get back into it after giving up 2 runs in the first inning, and then the lead again after the Braves had tied it in the fourth. Apparently the solo homerun was the problem for Lowe, as three homeruns accounted for all the Nats scoring on the day.
The Braves came back and tied it in the seventh and then won in the tenth off of the the Nats "closer." Brian McCann didn't ground into a double play while driving in the go-ahead run, and Omar Infante came through with a key 2-run, 2-out hit to put the Braves up by 3. Rafael Soriano came on in the ninth to toss some easy-queso by the Nats "hitters."
And currently Colorado is losing...

Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.

Oh.
Well good, then. It’s always fun to see another QB have exactly the performance Jake Delhomme gets destroyed for because his line falls on their face.

Big Colts fan here too. Grew up in Indiana.
It was great being able to watch the game on tv. I was happy that the Cards don’t have a running game…gave the defense a break.

I predicted that they would finish 4th in the division, behind Jax, Indy and Houston (in that order…)

The Cards are hanging on thru 7. The Rockies have 8 hits, but are still leading by 1.

I understand why Pujols wanted to get to third, but what the hell was Lugo doing? It almost looked like he could have tagged up in the time it took Barmes to get his bearings and throw Pujols out at first…or at least tried.

Yeah, what was puljos and lugo thinking? They both ran off the back on a bloop to the outfield. You learn in little league to stay close to the bag on balls in the air, if you are unsure if they will land or not…. that was just stupid.

Phillies won, Colorado won, Marlins lost.
4.5 & 2.5 games back is very manageable.
LET’S DO THIS!

Another reason to hate the Cards. That is one bandwagon I will never jump on.
