Hanson Named Topps Rookie All-Star
Braves rookie Tommy Hanson, who finished third in the voting for the National League Rookie of the Year Award, was named to Topps' 51st Rookie All-Star team, along with the two players who finished ahead of him in the award voting, Florida outfielder Chris Coghlan and Philadelphia pitcher JA Happ.
The rest of the player selected include Mets' catcher Omir Santos, Giants first baseman Travis Ishikawa, White Sox second baseman Chris Getz and third baseman Gordon Beckham, Rangers shortstop (and former Braves prospect) Elvis Andrus, Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen and Orioles outfielder Nolan Reimold.
The accolade is just another sign of how good Hanson was this year for Atlanta. I've personally had the pleasure of seeing all of the players on this All-Star team at one point or another in their Minor League career, with the exception of Beckham, and I think that Hanson has by far the best chance to be a long-term star player in the Major League, with McCutchen as a solid second.

Re: Card #2
IMO, any pitcher who is forced to “pose” in the “mid-pitch” pose looks goofy. Because it is, it looks so unnatural and awkward, and it always looks silly when the do video of a pitcher doing a staged throw, and the ball is in their hand during the follow through, and they try to cut it off the frame, but everyone, their mother, and Ray Charles can see that the ball is still there.
No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
His first topps card came in 2007, and is not autographed

Nice stuff man. I don’t have any of the factory autorgaphed stuff, but I have most of the stuff he had out before this summer signed in person, including his college summer team card.

Pardon my ignorance, but does this award mean that he’ll get some kind of special card made for him, or is this strictly an award Topps gives out?
I dunno if they do it anymore, but all it means is that in his 2010 Topps releases, he gets a little trophy on his card that says TOPPS ALL ROOKIE TEAM
