More Injury News (it just won't stop!)
The Braves have placed reliever Rafael Soriano on the disabled list for the 94th time this season. Soriano made five one-inning appearances since coming off the DL the last time, surrendering only two runs on a homerun to Prince Fielder. The same mystery elbow problems continue to plague Soriano.
To take Soriano's place in the bullpen the Braves called up left-handed pitcher Francisley Bueno (or Frank Good to those who know him). Bueno was rather malo down at triple-A Richmond. He has a 5.02 ERA on the season mostly as a starter. At the age of 27, the Cuban born Bueno is not considered a prospect. The Braves signed him in February of 2006 out of the Dominican Republic after he had defected from Cuba in June of 2004.
On the good injury news front, Brian McCann is expected to be in the lineup Monday night in San Francisco.

I for one, am not surprised. They should just do Soriano’s TJ surgery at the same time they do Huddie’s.
"Have you ever had your heart broken?"
"Yeah, when we lost the pennant in '87."
Soo...
I see that Ridgway is hurt, but what about Stockman? Is Frank Good better than these guys, or do we just want to keep them in AAA to develop some more? Stockman doesn’t even seem to get used much there either…
What about the Valdez guy in AA, he seems to be doing well…
Also, there is a guy down in AAA who seems to be pretty good, Resop. We should call him up, he seems MLB ready…

Of course he is!
I think we should hand out some sort of prize for everyone that wore an Atlanta Braves uniform and managed to stay of the DL this year.
Maybe a Carrabba’s gift card?
