It was a long podcast this week, as we discussed our favorite players at each level, the development of Drew Waters, and an injury to a key pitching prospect

Road to Atlanta is our weekly podcast where we discuss all things minor leagues and prospects for our beloved Atlanta Braves. We have relaunched the podcast and it can be found in the same stream with the Talking Chop podcast, so if you subscribe to have easy access to R2A as well. Episodes will go live (most of the time) every Sunday evening and will cover a wide range of topics including top performances from the previous week, deep dives into specific prospects or topics, and lots of sweet guests.

We are back again for a regular episode format, with Eric Cole and Garrett Spain discussing the top Braves prospect performers from the last couple of weeks as well as some players who have struggled. Drew Waters was a key topic as left field will be a huge hole for the Braves and we all want to see him ready soon, but we discussed some of our concerns for him and how we hope to see him developed. Also of note were a couple of injuries, one to pitching prospect Victor Vodnik and another to Cristian Pache that prevented him from making a rehab start this past week. This is a long one and we went in depth on what we’ve seen with the last two weeks of information, so sit back and enjoy as we ramble on about how much we like Indigo Diaz and how terrifying Shea Langeliers is for baserunners everywhere.
