The MLB Futures Game will be held Sunday, July 11 starting at 3 p.m. ET at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. The game will be televised on MLB Network or streamed live via MLB.com. The game will also be broadcast on SiriusXM for subscribers. The Atlanta Braves will be represented in the game by outfield prospects Drew Waters and Michael Harris.
The game will be played in an American League vs National League format and will be seven innings in length. Both rosters are loaded with prospect talent.
Waters has had an up and down season at Gwinnett but has been red hot over the last week. Harris created a buzz while working at the alternate site last summer and has put up big numbers at High-A Rome.
There will also be some familiar names for Braves fans on the coaching staffs. Vinny Castilla will serve as manager for the NL while Andruw Jones will be the team’s hitting coach.
Former University of Georgia right-hander, and current Mariners prospect, Emerson Hancock was selected to the game but won’t participate due to injury.
Complete rosters can be found here.
