The Atlanta Braves will try to complete a three-game sweep of the Washington Nationals Sunday afternoon at Nationals Park. Atlanta’s offense exploded for 12 runs and four more home runs in a blowout win Saturday. They will be looking for more of the same as Drew Smyly squares off against Paolo Espino.
For the Braves Sunday, Brian Snitker unsurprisingly is sticking with the same group in the first six spots of the order. Ozzie Albies will lead off again and has homered in four straight games. Dansby Swanson homered twice Saturday and has three in the series and will hit fifth. Joc Pederson returns to the lineup Sunday and will hit seventh and play centerfield while Stephen Vogt gets the start behind the plate and will hit eighth.
