Ynoa was a pleasant surprise for Atlanta’s rotation early on allowing two runs or less in six of his eight starts. He was tagged for nine hits and five runs in 4 1/3 innings by the Brewers on May 16 and then suffered a broken hand after punching the dugout. Ynoa made three rehab appearances and the numbers weren’t great, but he was reportedly throwing the ball well and is healthy and rested. He will now get another opportunity to lock down a spot in the rotation.
