The Atlanta Braves finally made some noise Thursday afternoon with the acquisition of outfielders Adam Duvall and Eddie Rosario. They may also be looking into the bullpen market as well. The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal and others report that the Braves are among the teams that have checked in on Cubs closer Craig Kimbrel but are currently on the outside of the bidding.
Source confirms: Braves get Adam Duvall from Marlins in addition to Eddie Rosario from Indians. Team also checked in on Kimbrel but does not see itself currently as a factor in the bidding. First on Duvall: @CraigMish.

While Atlanta may be unlikely to land Kimbrel, they could add another high leverage arm before the 4 p.m. deadline. The reliever market hasn’t really started to move and may well be waiting on a Kimbrel deal to finish. Relievers such as Ian Kennedy and Raisel Iglesias are just two of the names that are available.
The relief market this afternoon is going to be completely bonkers.

There is still about two hours to go before the deadline. The Braves have tried to address the outfield situation and lengthened the lineup somewhat. Now they need to turn their attention to the bullpen and any other upgrades to add depth.
