Orlando Arcia, Kevan Smith return to lineup for Game 1 of Wednesday’s doubleheader

Atlanta is looking to get back to .500 against the Padres.

The Atlanta Braves will try to get back to the .500 mark for the season in Game 1 of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the San Diego Padres. Atlanta took the opener of the series 2-1 on Tuesday thanks to a big performance by Touki Toussaint and another home run by Freddie Freeman.

Atlanta’s lineup for the first game of the twin bill is the same as Tuesday through the first five spots in the order. Guillermo Heredia moves up to sixth while Orlando Arcia and Kevan Smith return to the lineup are hitting seventh and eighth. Kyle Muller will get the start on the mound for Atlanta in Game 1.

For the Padres, Tommy Pham moves back into the leadoff spot against the lefty. Jurickson Profar gets the start in center field and will hit sixth. Ha-Seong Kim will be at second base and hitting seventh.

Game 1 of Wednesday’s doubleheader is slated to begin at 12:20 p.m. ET and can be seen on Bally Sports South.
